Zohaib Khan asks himself a simple question: how can I make a difference in others' lives? The answer arrives the same day — an unexpected LinkedIn message from an old acquaintance reaching out to be more human. Inspired, Zohaib replies: "I'm going to copy this without shame."

What began as 1-on-1 conversations with Perplexity Fellows grew into a buzzing WhatsApp community. Researchers, builders, students, and curious minds — all drawn together by genuine interest in AI and each other.
A choice to keep going.
The Perplexity Fellowship ends. The community faces a fork in the road: let the momentum fade, or evolve into something bigger. The answer is unanimous. We chose to build — and The AI Fellowship was born.
